Step
1: Initial Call & Discussion
When you make the initial call
we will have a brief
discussion about your
thoughts, concerns,
requirements and expectations.
We will discuss what we can
offer you and maybe give you
some options to consider and
possibly an 'indicative'
price.
Step
2: Proposal
As a result of Step 1: we will
follow it up with either a
brief outline covering what
was discussed in either an
email or a further telephone
call. If you then wish to
proceed further we will
develop a full Proposal for
the project.
Step
3: Requirements
Once the Proposal has been
accepted, then a more detailed
requirements gathering
exercise will be undertaken
and a project manager will be
assigned for the duration of
the project.
Step
4: Design
An initial design will be
produced for you to review and
accept. Once accepted the
design will be formalised and
subject to 'change control'.
The designer will also begin
to work with the Developer to
start putting the deliverable
(eg a 'website')
together.
Step
5: Develop & Code
This is where the deliverable
will start to take shape. The
output from this stage will be
a fully functional
deliverable.
Step
6: Test
This stage is to ensure that
the functionality and
performance is as expected.
From this stage we will have a
fully 'signed-off' version of
the deliverable.
Step
7: Deploy
Now that the deliverable has
been tested we can begin the
deployment stage. This will
also include any user
education as well as the
implementation of the
deliverable into a production
environment.
Step
8: Support
Once the deliverable is in
production it is now
considered 'Business as Usual'
and if requested we will
provide support which will be
renewable on an annual basis.
Step
9: Enhance
Of course now that it is in
production new requirements
will emerge as a result of new
business requirements. These
can be 'batched up' to form
the basis of a new release
either on a periodic or as
required basis.
